ABSTRACT

Purpose: This study aims to look at the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the implementation of SIMAKU, measure the success of SIMAKU implemented by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro from the perception of users, and see what obstacles are experienced during system implementation. Theoretical Framework: Accounting information system (AIS) consists of three basic elements: the system, information and accounting. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study uses a qualitative research approach based on the concept of "going exploring" which involves the in-depth and case-oriented study of several cases or single cases using descriptive study and case study analysis methods. Furthermore, the sources of this research amounted to 12 respondents divided into two, namely: information users and data inputs. Findings: The results of the study concluded that the Covid-19 pandemic did not have a significant effect on the implementation of the work unit program within the UMM and the implementation of the SIMAKU UMM application as a whole was quite good. Research, Practical & Social implications: The benefit of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the Financial Management Information System (SIMAKU) which has been used at the UMM for more than five years so that this system can continue to be useful for its users on an ongoing basis. Implications/Originality/Value: The originality of this study is examines the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on SIMAKU implementation and identifies errors in the implementation of successful systems and information systems models in user or user perception used by (DeLone & McLean, 2003). © 2022 AOS-Estratagia and Inovacao. ABSTRACT

Introduction: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious with speed transmission and cause pandemic around the globe. A real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) has become the major diagnostic method for COVID-19. Some believe that releasing patient from isolation or evaluating clinical progression could be made based on cycle threshold (CT) values. Here, we aimed to compare CT-value to the clinical insight using three different PCR's kit. Method: We collected 48 patients with confirmed COVID19 positive, then we divided into three groups that were (1) pneumonia, (2) non-pneumonia and (3) asymptomatic. The specimens came from nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs, were extracted using the same matrix column method and then detected by RT-PCR using different kit. The kits were commercially that detect Orf1ab, E gene (kit A);Orf1ab, N, E gene (kit B) and Orf1ab, N gene (kit C). Thus, we compared the result using comparation analysis based on CT-value and clinical groups by using SPSS 20.0 Result: From those patients there were 23 asymptomatic (48%), 9 symptomatic non-pneumonia (19%) and 16 pneumonia cases (33%) respectively. The mean difference of CT-values within three kits were wide and convergence. There were also significantly different (Kruskal-Wallis Test) between clinical course and CT-value in three PCR's kit even from the same detected gene (p< 0.005). Conclusion: This study conclude that CT-value cannot be the only determination to exclude patient from the isolation or to predict the clinical manifestation in COVID-19 since it has wide variation within same sample in different PCR kits. © 2022 UPM Press. ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION: Insufficient milk production is a major problem for mothers who have just given birth and affects the health condition of postpartum mothers. One of the actions that can be taken to increase milk production and improve the health of postpartum mothers is to consume foods that can increase breast milk production, namely ingredients that contain galactagogue substances. Several types of herbal plants that are often consumed by postpartum mothers after giving birth to increase breast milk in North Sumatra, especially the city of Medan, are making vegetables from the bangun-bangun leaves. Bangun-bangun leaves contain the main ingredients, namely carvakrol, thymol, humulene, undecanal, terpinene, cymene, caryophyllene oxide, terpineol, and salinene whose nutritional content and composition help to stimulate breast milk production. AIM: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the intervention of the leaves of the wake on the milk production of postpartum mothers and the health condition of postpartum mothers during the COVID 19 pandemic. METHOD: The intervention was carried out by giving 100 g of bangun-bangun leaves and consumed three times a day starting from the time the mother gave birth until 7 days. Breast milk production was assessed from the time the first breast milk was released and the health condition of the postpartum mother was assessed by measuring vital signs and assessing health conditions while still adhering to health protocols. The study was conducted in Medan Johor, North Sumatra Province and the sample in this study consisted of 60 people consisting of 30 intervention groups and 30 control groups according to the inclusion criteria. Collecting data using a questionnaire consisting of demographic data, data on the 1st day of breastfeeding, and data on health conditions in postpartum mothers before and after the intervention. Data analysis was carried out using dependent and independent t-tests. RESULTS: The results of the study showed that there was an effect of the intervention on the consumption of bangun-bangun leaves on breast milk production using an independent t-test with a p = 0.010 and intervention for consumption of bangun-bangun leaves with postpartum mother’s health condition with a p = 0.001. CONCLUSION: The results of this study are expected to be a solution and intervention in the care of postpartum mothers who have problems in spending milk production and can improve health conditions, especially during the COVID 19 pandemic.
